My name is Becky and I joined Scentsy to earn a little extra cash for “pocket money”. I needed something where I could work from home and which I could fit in around my then 3 year old daughter and my part-time job. I chose Scentsy as it was brand new to the UK and could see the potential from its phenomenal success in the USA. I love selling Scentsy. Our products are amazing quality, family friendly and the company is incredibly supportive towards all of its consultants.

Both myself and Stuart now work our Scentsy business full-time from home and it is a dream come true. How Do I Sell Scentsy?

Your Scentsy Website
When you join and become a Scentsy Consultant, you are provided with a three-month FREE subscription to your own personal Scentsy website. At the end of the three months, it is only £10 a month to continue your subscription. The Scentsy website subscription is a “switch on and off” option with no tie-in or obligation at all. This is a very powerful tool that enables you to generate online sales. As an additional bonus, Scentsy deals with the dispatch of orders generated through your website! You earn commission on ALL your sales.

SOCIAL MEDIA

There are so many social media platforms out there and so many people you can promote your business to. Share your business on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube (plus many, many others) and just think about how many people you could reach.

It is your business and you sell Scentsy how you choose to and feel confident with. I started by handing catalogues out to family and friends (who in turn passed the catalogues to their friends etc) and as soon as my confidence grew (which was very quickly due to the positive response I had already received) I started attending local pamper and shopping events. From these I have established loyal customers who have then booked Scentsy home parties. Word of mouth is a fantastic selling tool and best of all it is free!

PARTIES

Home Parties
The traditional home party is a very popular way of selling. Ask your hostess to invite their friends over for a get together, introduce the products and then let everyone dive into the fragrances. Watch everyone’s faces as they share the fragrances and enjoy the memories these spark.

Basket Parties
Lend a warmer, some wax and your fragrance testers to a hostess for an agreed period of time for them to share with their friends and family. This is a great way of partying with Scentsy and allows hostesses and new customers to “try before they buy”. Reward your hostess with great party hostess rewards for the orders she gathers.

EVENTS

This is one of my favourite ways of promoting my business. Book a stand at your local pamper evening, or school fayre and introduce people to our products. There are so many different events held locally, including fundraising events, school summer fayres and Christmas bazaars. It is a great way to create a local customer base.

The market for Scentsy is very wide and ready for you to explore! The best bit is you will not find Scentsy on the High Street, shops cannot sell our products so customers will be looking locally for Scentsy Consultants!

There are no catalogue drops, no minimum party requirements (you do not need to host parties if you don’t feel comfortable with this), no target areas (so you don’t have to stay within your local area). The only requirement we have is that you sell 200prv (approximately £245 in one month within a three month period. Scentsy is very stress-free and best of all it is great fun!

Scentsy offers one of the most generous compensation plans in the industry.You can earn between 20% to 25% commission on your sales and up to 9% royalties from your downline. There is no-obligation to recruit consultants and build a downline, you are in control of your earnings. If you join my Scentsy team, I will not only help you start your Scentsy business, I will support and mentor you to achieve your goals. We are building a fantastic team and look forward to expanding this.

Scentsy FAQ

As an Independent Scentsy Consultant, you are an independent business owner authorized to sell Scentsy products for a commission. You have the freedom to control when and where you work your business. You can increase your commission by selling more products and building a team to earn bonuses on products sold by your team members.

The Scentsy family has this indefinable quality we call it Scentsy Spirit, because how else could we express the passion, encouragement, enthusiasm and drive of more than 250,000 unique souls coming together to serve a greater purpose? This is why we think Scentsy is the best direct selling company.

Most Scentsy Consultants join because they love the products; they stay because they fall in love with the community. From there, the reasons continue to grow — from earning extra income, to the flexibility of working when and where they want, to wanting to earn an upcoming incentive trip.

Click Join at the top of your Consultants Personal Website (PWS), select your Starter Kit and follow the steps to enrol. Or, host a party and earn Host Rewards that can be used toward the purchase of a Host-Exclusive Starter Kit with our Earn a Kit option. You will need a debit card, credit card or one of our accepted digital payment methods to pay for your Starter Kit.

You only need to pay the current price of the Starter Kit (plus local tax and shipping) to join Scentsy.

Our traditional Starter Kit includes everything you need to start your Scentsy business: a best-selling warmer, scented wax testers, catalogs, order forms, three months of your own PWS, product samples and more. (Contents may vary.)

Our traditional Starter Kit is £85 plus local tax and shipping. Or we have the Host-Exclusive Starter Kit that is just £50 with free UK shipping.

You must be the legal age or age of majority in your country of residence at the time of enrollment. You must also be a legal resident of the country where you want to enroll and have a valid personal identification number (such as a Social Security number or Employee Identification Number). And you must accept the Independent Consultant Agreement (ICA) and purchase a Starter Kit. (North Dakota residents are not required to purchase a Starter Kit to join.)

Commission is the compensation you earn for your personal sales of Scentsys commissionable products. Scentsy’s Compensation Plan

Consultants earn 20% on the first 1,000 points in Personal Retail Volume (PRV) and 25% on PRV after that, plus up to a 9% bonus on Personal Wholesale Volume (PWV) based on rank, and a 5% sales award when sales exceed 2,000 points in PRV in any given month. In addition to the commission you earn on your sales, you can earn multiple bonuses based on your teams performance.Scentsy’s Compensation Plan

PRV stands for Personal Retail Volume, and it is the global point value of commissionable products you sell and how Consultants are paid commissions. All products are assigned a PRV point value, which is then converted to local currency using a peg rate specific to each country.

To be considered “active,” you must generate sales resulting in 200 points or more in PRV in a single month. The 200 points in PRV can come from individual customer orders, party orders or online orders made through your PWS. To keep your account current, you must be active at least once in a consecutive 12-month period. If you sponsor any Consultants, you must be active at least once in a consecutive four-month period to retain your downline.

All payments from Consultants to Scentsy must be made via credit card, debit card, through your Consultant Pay Portal, or through payment methods specific to your country. Ask your sponsor for more details. Scentsy does not accept cash, money orders or cheques. However, you are welcome to accept payment from your customers in whatever form you choose. If a customer pays with a cheque, it must be made out to you as the Consultant.

Scentsy is built off the party plan. You can hold in-home parties, basket parties, open houses or online parties, and you may also take orders through your PWS.

All current Consultants worldwide are eligible to earn incentives, including trips and other prizes, by meeting specific activity requirements. Ready for your next adventure? Ask your Consultant or Sponsor to learn more about the requirements to earn the current incentive trip.

No. However, Consultants who sponsor new team members tend to earn more PRV over time and are about 60% more likely to stay with Scentsy long term!

Former Consultants are always encouraged to apply for an account reinstatement. Please note that there’s a minimum waiting period of three months if your account was cancelled for inactivity or six months if your account was cancelled for any other reason. Check out Workstation Lite to see your reinstatement eligibility date. Reinstated Consultants have the option to purchase a Reinstatement Kit to restart their business.

Scentsy is a party plan company, which is characterized by a social event — typically in a home, in person or online — where independent Consultants promote the products of their choosing within Scentsy’s product lineup. The party plan model gives Consultants the advantage of being able to help multiple customers experience the products at one time.

We always recommend first reaching out to your Sponsor or team theyre such a valuable resource! And the home office provides numerous training opportunities and online tools.
